Lantana 'Pink Huff'
NEW! A hardy sport of 'Miss Huff' with a smaller habit. Produces clusters of flowers that open primrose yellow and change to a medium rosy pink with an orange eye on a slightly more compact plant but with the reliable hardiness of its parent. Lantana are excellent pollinator plants attracting a myriad of pollinators that are lured in by the promise of rich ample nectar. These are die-back perennials in zones 7, 8 and 9 that return from the crown once soil temperatures begin to warm in spring. Lantana are one of the few perennials that provide a continuous display of color from spring to frost.
- "Tough as nails" best describes Lantana, blooming continuously from spring until fall frost, attracting butterflies and hummingbirds like magnets, while the pungent foliage repels deer. Drought tolerance is another outstanding feature.
- Full sun to part shade, not fussy about soil but doesn’t like “wet feet”. Tough, hardy and easy to grow.
- Grows to 3-4 ft high. Prune hard in early spring, as new growth begins to sprout
