Beautiful variety with light green and red leaves that are green and fuzzy in the center of the crown and on the outer edges and deep reddish-maroon in the middle. Baby "chicks" multiply quickly and form colonies over time. Hens & Chicks make excellent rock or alpine garden plants or as a container specimen where baby rosettes will spill over the side. In the garden, give Sempervivums excellent drainage, especially in winter. A very winter hardy succulent.
