Shasta Daisy 'Snowcap’ (Leucanthemum superbum 'Snowcap’)
- Use:
- Though it may look like a typical Shasta daisy at first, the large, snow white flowers which blanket the plant and all the buds along each stem set this variety apart. An outstanding cultivar! Pure white, 2-3" single flowers are produced in abundance atop bushy mounds of foliage. 'Snowcap' has a sturdy, uniform habit. Due to its compact nature, it tolerates the weather (wind, rain, etc.) better than other Shasta Daisies.
- Exposure/Soil:
- Full sun and average garden soil.
- Zones:
- 5-9
- Growth:
- Grows to 12-14” tall. Divide plants in the spring every 2 to 3 years to maintain vigor.
