Rosemary 'Hills Hardy’
A wonderful, cold tolerant Rosemary that loves sun and needs little watering. Hills Hardy has a pleasing flavor and fragrance for cooking and soaps. Similar to other varieties of Rosemary except it is much more cold hardy to handle cold winters in its growing zones. The erect growth habit makes it great for topiary gardening.
A must have culinary herb for the garden that tastes great in sauces, on potatoes and with roasted meats. Retains its strong pine flavor when cut or dried. Give this evergreen perennial herb room to grow in flower beds or herb gardens and you will be rewarded with its deliciously scented and flavored leaves for cooking. Use the stems as skewers on the grill for chicken, shrimp, etc. to infuse the wonderful flavor into the meat. Deer hate it!
- Full sun in well drained soil; drought and heat tolerant. Very easy to grow and so delicious!
- Grows to 3 ft high and wide. One of the most cold hardy varieties. Sky blue flowers in spring and fall. Evergreen perennial.
